"Dave DJ'D for my wedding this year in February. I was in 2 minds of having a dj and a band, or just a dj for the entire night.In the end, I went with just a dj. I was apprehensive about my decision to not have a band, and I was worrying,as every brides does, would the crowd like it? Would people be up dancing? and would the atmosphere be the same without a band?.. well I had nothing to worry about. From the first song everyone was up dancing. The atmosphere was everything I could have wanted, there was no need for a band. The music was to everyones taste. He really made mine, my husbands and my guests nights. The next morning, at breakfast, everyone commented on how good he was and some asked for his number for their future wedding. I was delighted to pass it on. I couldn't recommend Dave enough. We had Dave play at our wedding reception recently and I cannot recommend him highly enough. From the start he was great- we exchanged emails discussing the venue/our needs/price etc and then he called over to meet with us a few weeks before the wedding. Dave really set our minds at ease form the minute we started communicating with him- he was very flexible and open to everything. The night of the wedding Dave was very professional and the music was exactly as we had discussed, it was really everything we had imagined and more! All the guests were commenting on the good music and my feet were in bits for the next two days from all the dancing- a good complaint!!!! Huge thank you to Dave for making our night even more special!

"I would like to say a big thank-you to Dave who was the DJ for our wedding in Luttrellstown Castle in June 18.
I was very picky in this area to say the least, as it was really important to me to avoid the traditional wedding DJ music.
After I contacted Dave, he came to meet me and I was reassured that he understood the type of music I wanted played.
He was also more than happy to play any specific songs I had selected.
We had organised a separate band before the DJ, and Dave set up quietly and was ready to go the moment the band finished.

We booked him after hearing recommendations from friends and we weren’t disappointed. Dave was a pleasure to deal with and are so professional in what he does.
His performance on the night was absolutely brilliant; he really got the crowd going from the very start and he had the dancefloor full for the whole night with both young and old.
This included OAPs dancing to Blondie, much to our surprise and amusement!!! What can we say, Steely Dave was the second best choice we made for our wedding (riiiight behind choosing to get married!).
From the initial chats, back & forth over the playlists to the last song played out at our reception, we absolutely cannot fault you! From your passion for music, what you do, professionalism and everything else inbetween, we simply couldn’t have been happier with what Steely Dave delivered!
I personally loved that we were straight on the same page when it came to our playlist. Everything you suggested, and played on the night went down perfectly both with us and our guests. The floor was crammed full all night! We certainly didn’t want to stop dancing and was the exact party we had hoped for. Friends and family were coming up to us both all night singing your praises and it was definitely deserved. Thank you a million times over for making our night exactly what we ever hoped it would be, and more. Music is a huge part of my life, and what you played, how professionally you played it, and also your friendly personality meant we simply couldn’t have been happier. Everyone was dancing the whole night and there was no cheesy music at all. Dave feels the crowd and knows when to play what. Even when Dave added in songs we didn't request, they completely worked and everyone had an incredible time.
